Although Chinese meals can come in many combinations, they will usually include a meat or protein, one or two vegetable dishes, and some kind of soup. I will teach you how to prepare the dishes in groups of three that way they can be a meal or just three different recipes.
Chinese food uses a wide assortment of vegetables and can be prepared with no, a little bit or a lot of meat. It is also ideal to use fresh vegetables rather then canned or frozen. When preparing Chinese food, you can use white or brown rice, noodles, fry with just a small amount of oil, or even just steamed. Also many of the key spices have health enhancement qualities to them.
Because the timing behind cooking Chinese food is very important, it’s good to cut the different vegetables and cook them in groups, then fry them under high heat. There are also tricks for ways to prepare the key ingredients such as garlic ahead of time which speeds up the cooking process. I designed these recipes around the ability to walk into the house after a long day and while the kids were doing their home work, I could prepare dinner in under thirty minutes without a lot of mess.
